Aurum® is the first step as part of TJO’s multi-year plan to reduce the use of Cobalt Chrome in orthopedic implants.

Total Joint Orthopedics, Inc. (TJO) announces that it has reached 20,000 total knee replacements utilizing the Klassic® Knee System. The 20,000th total knee was implanted by Samuel S. Wellman, MD, of Duke Orthopaedics. “The Klassic Knee is an innovative implant system that improves patient outcomes and decreases unnecessary burden in the OR. I am excited to be a part of this important milestone and can’t wait to see what’s next for TJO” said Dr. Wellman.

Total Joint Orthopedics Releases New PS-Max® Tibial Insert to Further Evolution of Stability®
Total Joint Orthopedics, Inc. (TJO), announced the first cases using the Klassic® Knee System’s PS-Max® Tibial Insert at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. This tibial component is the latest offering in TJO’s Evolution of Stability® and provides orthopedic surgeons maximum stability for primary and revision total knee arthroplasty.

Total Joint Orthopedics and THINK Surgical Announce Collaboration to Enhance Total Knee Replacement Procedures
Total Joint Orthopedics (TJO) announced today a new collaboration with THINK Surgical®, Inc., an advanced orthopedic robot technology company based in Fremont, CA. Under the terms of the agreement, THINK Surgical will develop software allowing TJO's Klassic® Knee System to be implanted using THINK's TSolution One® Total Knee Application and both companies will co-market the solution upon 510(k) clearance to use the Klassic® Knee System with the TSolution One Total Knee Application.
