CR | ULTRACONGRUENT KLASSIC® KNEE SYSTEM

The Klassic® Knee System is a modernized universal design that offers seven sizes of femurs, six sizes of tibial inserts and baseplates, and five sizes of patellae to accommodate a variety of patient anatomy. In the standard configuration, the system requires a maximum of three trays of instruments to streamline the surgical technique, reduce sterilization costs, and increase efficiency in the operating room.

Universal™ Cone System
A maximum of three trays are required to perform a complete revision, compared to traditional systems with 8-15 trays. These trays provide everything from constrained inserts, stems, augments and cones.

This efficiency provides significant benefits:
  • Reduce OR times16
  • Reduce sterilization costs17
  • Reduce risk of infection18
  • Optimize efficiency and ergonomics

Universal™ Cone System

Bone-Conserving

The wide range of anatomically tapered cone sizes creates the ability to better match bone loss and not require excess resection.

The unique smaller / narrower cones fit perfectly in the femur or address smaller tibial defects.

Simple ream-only technique

The ream-only instrumentation increases the efficiency of the system by simplifying the workflow. Accurately preparing the bone while reducing the risk of fracture.

Optimal Ingrowth Surface

The Universal™ Cones feature clinically proven Ti-Coat®, an ultra-porous commercially pure titanium coating with a mean porosity of 60%. The rough asymmetrical grains and high porosity provide stable initial fixation and long-term biological fixation.

PS Design | Streamlined & Bone Conserving

industry-leading box design

The Klassic® PS-Post® Femur features an intercondular box resection that is one of the most bone-conserving options on the market.19 The resection is unchanged for Primary PS or complex revisions that may require additional stability with a PS-Max® bearing.

Additionally, the curved box geometry eliminate stress risers while supporting a 14mm minimum jump height.

streamlined workflow

The reamer-based preparation offers precision preparation while helping to reduce stress risers.

Easily Optimize Stability/Constraint

Customize the constraint with the same femoral cuts and tibial preparation: PS-Post® Insert or true varus/valgus constraint (±1.6°) with the PS-Max® Insert.

The intercondular box resection that is one of the most bone-conserving options and unchanged for Primary PS or complex revision.
